SMK is one of the participants at ‘Biofruit Congress’, the second International congress on organic produce. Stefanie de Kool, Programme Manager plant agri chains, was invited as a debater on the subject ‘Which better added ‘value chains’ beyond organics’.
In her presentation Stefanie will introduce ‘On the way to PlanetProof’ as a European Sustainability Standard for Plant Products. She will also give ‘food to the discussion’ and answer to the question of how to organise a transition towards sustainability for all plant produce, instead of creating niche markets. Other bullet points in her presentation are ”How do we make (more) impact? and “How do we ensure support from all stakeholders across Europe?”
